The Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation has established industry-led working committees that report to the Board of Directors through Committee Chairs. Each committee is comprised of 12-15 industry members and supports the activities of the Board of Directors by collaborating and developing marketing and product development strategies, tactics and partnership programs in conjunction with OTMPC Staff.
OTMPC continues to build its marketing reach by working with industry-directed product committees. The Town and Country and Outdoor Committees identify and co-ordinate a Product Development Program. Through a dynamic private/public marketing coalition, OTMPC co-ordinates a four-phase process that develops new tourism products to market-ready status, develops consumer-based marketing strategies and packages the best of Ontario tourism product.
Market Committees develop communications plans and implement co-operative advertising campaigns with partners for our North America and Overseas markets.
Board Members are appointed to one of four committees: - Executive Committee sets priorities and recommends objectives and strategies
- Nominations Committee is responsible for succession planning and recruitment for industry committees
- Marketing Performance Assessment Committee ensures appropriate performance measures are in place and reviewed on a regular basis
- Finance and Audit Committee oversees, supports and monitors responsible disclosure of OTMPC's financial operations and financial reports to the Board.
