Target Segment Profiles

Segmentation Reports OTMPC engaged Environics Analytics to apply demographic analysis to the Ministry of Tourism's Travel Activities and Motivations Survey (TAMS) research database. The result is some of the most extensive geodemographic analysis of OTMPC's target consumers ever compiled.

The research links travel behaviour and motivation information with socio-economic, social values, attitudinal and media use information to identify, locate and quantify the best consumer prospects. As a result, OTMPC now knows who Ontario's target consumers are, what they want, and importantly, what media channels are best to reach them.

Using this research, OTMPC has developed its marketing with programs and activities tailored directly to the target consumers' needs that will help us build an ongoing relationship with them for the future.
