Board & Committees The work of the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation (OTMPC) is governed, guided and supported by an industry-led volunteer Board of Directors whose members are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council. The Board directs OTMPC's overall strategies and operations by providing leadership, maintaining accountability for its programs and facilitating government and private stakeholder marketing efforts. Board Directors may also sit on one of four committees - the Executive Committee, the Nominations Committee, the Finance and Audit Committee and the Marketing Performance Assessment Committee.

Board of Directors
OTMPC reports to a Board of Directors which, in turn, is accountable to the Minister of Tourism and Recreation. It is the governing body that is responsible and accountable for providing strategic leadership to OTMPC. The Board has broad policy powers to approve budgets, as well as business and marketing plans.

Executive Committee
The Executive Committee sets priorities and recommends objectives and strategies to the Board.

Finance and Audit Committee
The Finance and Audit Committee oversees and monitors OTMPC's financial reporting. The Board relies on input from industry-led working committees reporting through committee chairs. Product and Market Committees are comprised of 12-15 volunteer members. OTMPC staff and these committees collaborate in the development of marketing strategies, tactics and partnership programs that make up the annual OTMPC Marketing Plan.

MPAC Committee
The Marketing Performance Assessment Committee (MPAC) ensure appropriate performance measures are in place and reviewed on a regular basis. This includes providing ongoing auditing of our advertising programs and other marketing-related activities.

Nominations Committee
The Nominations Committee is responsible for succession planning for the industry product and market committees.

OTMPC staff and these committees collaborate in the development of marketing strategies, tactics and partnership programs that make up the annual OTMPC Marketing Plan.

North America Committee
The North America Committee works with OTMPC staff and committees to identify, develop and monitor OTMPC's marketing strategies, tactics and programs for the domestic and key U.S. markets.

MC & IT Committee
The Meetings, Conventions & Incentive Travel (MC & IT) Sub-Committee works with OTMPC staff and committees to identify, develop and monitor OTMPC's marketing strategies, tactics and programs for key MC & IT markets. The MC & IT group is a sub-committee of the North America Committee.

Northern Tourism Marketing Committee
The Northern Tourism Marketing Committee works with OTMPC staff and committees to identify, develop and monitor OTMPC's marketing strategies, tactics and programs for key Northern markets.

Overseas Committee
The Overseas Committee works with OTMPC staff and committees to identify, develop and monitor OTMPC's marketing strategies, tactics and programs for key Asia-Pacific and European markets.

Outdoor Committee
The Outdoor Committee works with OTMPC staff and committees to identify, develop and facilitate outdoor experiences, packaging programs and product alliances.
