Destination Ontario inspires consumers to choose Ontario for their travel plans and works with the travel trade to develop new market-ready product and train/educate travel agents who help close the sale. They also provide Ontario suppliers with opportunities to take their product to market. A variety of integrated activities include tradeshows, sales missions, familiarization tours for both travel agents and tour operators, and training and consumer promotions with tour operators.
Destination Ontario's team includes travel trade consultants for Canada, the United States, Europe (U.K., Germany and France), Asia (China, Japan, South Korea and India) and Latin America (Mexico and Brazil).
Co-managed and produced by Destination Canada and the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, RVC is Canada’s premier tourism marketplace, bringing tour operators, wholesalers, and media from over 30 countries around the world. Co-hosted in Toronto on May 28th-31st, by Destination Ontario and Tourism Toronto, RVC 2019 exceeded expectations.
